Cancellations & Missed Appointments

In accordance with standard practice, payment is to be made at booking.  The charge will remain in place for missed appointments or non-attendance unless 24 hours’ notice is given.  Reminders will be given to you of your appointment so if it no longer suits you please reply and cancel within the 24 hours window or rebook.

EXCEPTION: If you are showing signs or symptoms of COVID-19 then you may cancel without incurring this charge, if you do not call to cancel and simply no show then no refund will be given.

Privacy & Data Policy

Collection of Information

When you book a treatment with me you will be sent a client screening form.  The purpose of this data it to first and foremost ensure your suitability for massage or exercise, secondly to provide as much relevant information as possible as to the cause of your issue and complaint and thirdly to comply with legal and insurance requirements.

Like most small businesses I do not have my own data software, so I pay to use third party software. Your information is collected via a 3rd party tool called WuFoo.  This is a data collection tool which stores your data securely and to meet GDPR requirements.  It is password protected and is only accessible by me.  All treatment details are documented and stored on my computer which is secured and also meets GDPR requirements.

If you are unhappy with this process, then I can collect the data using paper form during your session but note this time will come out of the treatment/exercise time.  All paper files are stored in a locked cabinet in a secured room and our held for 7 years to meet legal requirements.

COVID_19 Data & Track and Trace

I will be issuing a second screening form for COVID-19 impacts. You will be asked the following questions and the data stored securely online:

a) There has not been in contact with anyone with Covid-19, in the last 14 days, to your knowledge

b) There have not been any symptoms: – dry cough, temp over 37.8°C, loss of smell and/or taste

c) Should the client contract the virus you must inform the therapist as soon as possible

d) Should the client contract the virus we are obliged to inform NHS Track & Trace in turn if I contract the virus, I will inform you also.
